Anyone work in healthcare in Quakertown?

Anyone else feel this way? Rent is about $1,253/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Am I wrong here? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
