Moving from Memphis to Ranchettes next month

First post here. I grew up here but left for a while. The median home value here is around $560,900, which is pretty steep. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thoughts? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
