Longtime lurker here, Crime rate is something to consider -Rifle sits at 388.5 per 100K. Rent is about $1,231/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,231 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Worth the trade-offs? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Bought a house here in 2020 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
