Housing in Rochester compared to Pittsburgh

We're a young couple and Homes are going for about $241,900 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I wrong here?

I work in government here and I have mixed feelings honestly. The job market for my field is underrated. Definitely worth checking out..
