Pros and cons of Rochester after 6 years

Hey everyone, Poverty rate is 12.7%, which is around average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Let me know your thoughts. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The walkability is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The weather is average compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..
