Housing in Rockville Centre compared to Minneapolis

I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Am I overthinking this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
