Hello, The unemployment rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $278,000 on average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Has anyone dealt with this? The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is decent in most areas.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in West. It's challenging for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally average. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: decent. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
