Longtime lurker here, The median home value here is around $136,800, which is actually reasonable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What would you do? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
