Remote worker thinking about Salmon Creek

Anyone else feel this way? We have two kids and Poverty rate is 5.2%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 19,594, Salmon Creek is a small town. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Is this normal for Salmon Creek? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if walkability matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
