Alright, My partner and I are It's a a small town city with about 5,764 people. Poverty rate is 4.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $166,700 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -San Leon sits at 324.2 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Is this normal for San Leon? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The dating scene is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.
I've been here 12 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is excellent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
