Best restaurants in San Luis Obispo?

Hello, I'm single, late 20s, and Rent is about $1,906/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What do you all think? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Came here for work and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The nightlife is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want nightlife, then yeah this place is great. But if nightlife matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Oak Park area are underrated. Kids love it here.

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much established but now it's average.
