Longtime lurker here, Born and raised here. Rent is about $1,906/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -San Luis Obispo sits at 402.2 per 100K. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Would love some local perspective. Cheers. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
