What's it really like living in Savoy?
I'm a remote worker and The median home value here is around $280,700, which seems about average. The unemployment rate is 0.8%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $88,828, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $954/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Any help is appreciated. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
