Relocating to Scotia, NY -pros and cons?

Random thought, I relocated for work and Rent is about $1,064/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $182,800, which is actually reasonable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
