Moving from St. Louis to Seguin next month

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Crime rate is something to consider -Seguin sits at 277.7 per 100K. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Should I be concerned? TIA!

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.
