First post here. I'm retired and Rent is about $806/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $223,100, which is actually reasonable. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus....

Hello, I grew up here but left for a while. Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
