Honest thoughts on life in Soquel

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a 41-year-old police officer and The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 1.2%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks! The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much competitive but now it's better than expected.
