Hey, Been living here since 2006. Homes are going for about $195,700 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Thoughts? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I work in government here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is better than expected. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Highland. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in legal you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Downtown. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in real estate. If you're in finance you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.
