Came here for quality of life and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The housing market is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Meadowbrook. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..
