Curious what people think. Military spouse here. Crime rate is something to consider -Southaven sits at 165.1 per 100K. With a population of 55,531, Southaven is a smaller city. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. Let me know your thoughts. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
