Most overrated things about Southaven

Alright, The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $1,361 for rent here. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The community vibe scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for young professionals. Feel free to reach out with questions..
