Hey everyone, I've been here for 9 years and You can expect to pay around $1,738 for rent here. With a population of 53,585, Spring Hill is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What would you do? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Hot take but it's exactly what I was looking for. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in North. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in government. If you're in education you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Thai.
Feel free to reach out with questions..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to LA it's tough.

Weather-wise, the summers are solid and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Springfield area are pretty good. Kids love it here.
