Remote worker thinking about Spring Valley

Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Chicago and Poverty rate is 4.2%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Austin it's better than expected.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.
