Springfield is underrated, change my mind

Military spouse here. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 6.0%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $123,691, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Springfield sits at 130.5 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The walkability is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is improving in most areas.
