Hi all, My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $115,350 in St. Charles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Does this match your experience?

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Four distinct seasons
- The job market scene is decent
The downsides:
- Bugs and humidity in summer
- Far from beaches/mountains
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Feel free to reach out with questions..
