Just moved to St. Charles, any tips?

Random thought, I'm originally from Salt Lake City and Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $369,700, which seems about average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
