St. Charles in the winter -how bad?

Random thought, You can expect to pay around $1,788 for rent here. Poverty rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Worth the trade-offs? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

As someone who grew up here, I genuinely enjoy living here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. healthcare used to be much established but now it's challenging.
