OK so I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Poverty rate is 11.9%, which is around average. The unemployment rate is 4.4%, which is about average. It's a a smaller city city with about 69,926 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
Pros:
- Great weather
- Good internet infrastructure
- Plenty of shopping options
Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Not very walkable
- Homelessness issues downtown
Thoughts? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
