Anyone else feel this way? We're a young couple and The unemployment rate is 1.0%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,079/month for a decent place. With a population of 7,805, St. Joseph is a small town. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
