Curious what people think. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Rent is about $1,079/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $271,100 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Is this normal for St. Joseph? The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much established but now it's surprisingly good.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.
