Best areas to explore in St. Matthews?

Been meaning to ask this. Crime rate is something to consider -St. Matthews sits at 120.4 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 58--F, so the weather is moderate. Rent is about $1,253/month for a decent place. With a population of 17,491, St. Matthews is a small town. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
