Best companies to work for in Sterling?

I grew up here but left for a while. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Should I be concerned?

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much reasonable but now it's excellent.

I work in manufacturing here and the quality of life is solid. The job market for my field is excellent. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The food scene is genuinely hit or miss and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Oak Park) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Nashville, be prepared for the culture shock. public transit is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
