Hey folks, It's a a smaller city city with about 48,818 people. Median household income is $42,015, which feels on the lower side for the area. You can expect to pay around $944 for rent here. The median home value here is around $230,900, which is actually reasonable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Greenfield. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in construction you might struggle.
People: Generally average. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Korean.

I work in hospitality here and it's not perfect but it works for me. The job market for my field is excellent. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
