Rent in Stillwater getting crazy

So, I'm a teacher here and Median household income is $42,015, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 48,818 people. Homes are going for about $230,900 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Stillwater sits at 313.7 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
