First post here. I grew up here but left for a while. Homes are going for about $503,600 on average. It's a a small town city with about 6,593 people. Biggest downsides of living in Strathmore?

So, I'm retired and Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
