Random thought, We have two kids and Poverty rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Surf City sits at 167.6 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Am I wrong here? The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
