Temple City housing prices -when will it stop?

The unemployment rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 35,749 people. The median home value here is around $930,200, which is pretty steep. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What neighborhoods would you suggest? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value community vibe, you'll love it. The outdoor recreation is genuinely pretty good and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Springfield) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Salt Lake City, be prepared for the culture shock. community vibe is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
