Longtime lurker here, I'm a teacher here and Rent is about $1,174/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 71--F, so it's warm year-round. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
