Been a Temple resident for 15 years. Here's my honest take: Pros: - Strong job market - Low crime in most areas - Reasonable housing Cons: - Public transit needs work - Job market is niche Overall I'd rate it 8/10. It's not perfect but I plan to stay long-term.
