Hey everyone, Poverty rate is 13.8%, which is around average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I wrong here? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a data analyst who relocated here from San Diego about 9 years ago. The main reasons were work and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Active local events and festivals
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Chain restaurants dominate
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are developing, gas is average.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Good luck with whatever you decide..
