Thinking about relocating to Troup from Baltimore

Alright, I work in healthcare and It's a a small town city with about 1,965 people. Household incomes average around $51,563 in Troup. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Does this match your experience? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in South area are decent. Kids love it here.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is weather. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 2 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.
