Affordable areas near Tucson?

First post here. Median household income is $54,546, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a major city city with about 543K people. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
