Best hidden gems in Tucson

First post here. My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $242,200, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $1,079/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Has anyone dealt with this? The weather takes some getting used to.
