Hiking near Tucson?

For context,

I've lived in West University for the past 6 years. I don't understand why more people don't talk about West University.

With a population of 543,348, the city has a {city_feel}. Home prices averaging is {home_feel}.

What I like:
- Active community events
- Diverse neighborhoods
- Good internet

What I don't:
- Summers are brutal
- Sprawl is real

Nightlife is decent if you know where to go. Traffic has gotten noticeably worse in the past year.

Great question. Here's my honest take after 12 years:

The good:
- Four seasons
- Good internet
- Pet-friendly city

The not-so-good:
- Chain restaurants everywhere
- Tourist crowds

The weather took some getting used to but I actually love it now.. I'd say for retirees, Tucson is underrated. Good luck!
