Unpopular opinion about Tucson

Alright, I grew up here but left for a while. The median home value here is around $242,200, which is actually reasonable. The city has invested a lot in new development. What do you all think?

I work in government here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is underrated. Hope this helps!.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much growing but now it's improving.

I've lived in Old Town for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- The food scene scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
