Moving to University Park with kids -good idea?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and Has anyone dealt with this? Any help is appreciated.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Springfield. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally average. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like Italian.
Definitely worth checking out..
