Best restaurants in Upland?

Hey everyone, I'm single, late 20s, and Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I overthinking this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 6 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Eastside. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in finance. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in West. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in retail. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.
