Best things about Upland that nobody talks about

As a 13-year resident, here are some things about Upland that don't make it into the guides:

1. The local music scene is really vibrant
2. Community events happen almost every weekend
3. The sunsets here are genuinely beautiful

Give it a chance if you're considering it!

Been here 20 years. The city has changed a lot but overall for the better.

I'd add that the school system has been improving steadily. Otherwise spot on!

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is drive around neighborhoods at different times before committing. Makes a big difference.

Coming from Philadelphia, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are about the same.
