How is Vero Beach for outdoor activities?

Random thought, I'm a teacher here and Poverty rate is 10.8%, which is around average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Is this normal for Vero Beach? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The traffic is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to San Diego it's hit or miss.
