Is Verona still affordable?

Hi all, I'm a teacher here and Household incomes average around $119,148 in Verona. It's a a small town city with about 14,499 people. Poverty rate is 1.4%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I've lived in Uptown for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The job market scene is solid

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Feel free to reach out with questions..
